Background
Comic Elder, born Leroy Tadiwanashe Zaware on April 24, 2002, in Harare, Zimbabwe, hails from Murehwa. He grew up in a family of four children three boys and one girl and is the eldest. By profession he is a video director, scriptwriter, and content creator.
Comedy Career
Comic Elder has grown to become one of Zimbabwe's most loved comedians, best known for his humorous social media skits. His talent and creativity have earned him national recognition.
In October 2025, he won the Best Comedy Award at the Youth Empowerment Symposium in Harare, presented to him by President Emmerson Mnangagwa, who also gifted him a Ford Raptor. Soon after, businessman Wicknell Chivayo rewarded him with US$150,000 to buy a house, praising his ability to make the president laugh.
