Background

Ariel Primary School is an independent, co-educational institution located on Tarisa/James Farm Road in Ruwa, Mashonaland East, Zimbabwe. Founded in 1991, the school is a member of both the Association of Trust Schools (ATS) and the Conference of Heads of Independent Schools in Zimbabwe (CHISZ). It offers education from Early Childhood Development (ECD B) to Grade 7. The current head is Miss Judith Bates, who has served for more than a decade.

History

The school began with four classrooms and 75 students in a converted farmhouse in early 1991. Over the years, Ariel Primary expanded its farm-based campus to include more classrooms, a library, a computer room, and sports facilities. The student population and staff increased steadily as new amenities were added. Ariel Primary is located roughly 34 km from Harare, giving it a rural setting near the capital city.

  • English Language
  • Shona
