Lupane State University (LSU) is a public university located in the town of Lupane, Matabeleland North, Zimbabwe. The institution was established in 2005 by an act of Parliament with the goal of improving higher education access and supporting regional development, especially in agricultural sciences. LSU began operations in August 2005, initially enrolling just 12 students in its Faculty of Agricultural Sciences.
