Background
Zimbabwe Ezekiel Guti University (ZEGU) is a private university in Zimbabwe. It was established in May 2012 by ZAOGA FIF Ministries, a Pentecostal church founded by Archbishop Ezekiel Handinawangu Guti. The idea was to create a Christian-based university that focuses on academic training as well as moral and spiritual development. It first opened in Harare and later moved to Bindura, a town in the Mashonaland Central Province.
Administration
The university is officially led by a Chancellor and Vice Chancellor.
- The founding Chancellor was Ezekiel Guti, but leadership has since passed to Dr. Joseph Guti.
- The current Vice Chancellor is Professor Innocent Chirisa, who has a background in regional and urban planning.
Faculties and Programmes
The university has several academic faculties, including:

- Plans are in place to add Agriculture in the future.
Programmes are offered at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. Courses cover business, law, education, and theology. The university also publishes its own academic journals in different fields like governance and development.
Religious Affiliation
ZEGU is affiliated with the Zimbabwe Assemblies of God Africa (ZAOGA Forward in Faith) church. Although it follows Christian values, the university accepts students from different backgrounds.
