How to view ZIMSEC results online DCMV portal guide
Follow this step by step guide in order to easily view your grade 7, O level or A level ZIMSEC results online on the DCMV portal.
Step 1: Get your region link
Option A: Open a browser (Chrome, Edge etc) and enter the ZIMSEC website url: www5.zimsec.co.zw. Click on “view results” and you will be taken to a page that shows different regions from which you should select your school region.
Option B: You can directly enter your region DCMV (Data Capture and Manage View) link into your browser. Make sure it is the correct link for your region otherwise you will not be able to register. Here is a table showing the links for each region:

Step 2: Account Creation
After loading your link you will see a login page. Click on Register as new user. You will be taken to a consent page which you should fill in with your details accordingly.
If already consented you can select already consented and skip to registation. ZIMSEC strictly points out that you should:
ENTER CREDENTIALS AS THEY APPEAR ON THE ZIMSEC STATEMENT OF ENTRY!!!!
On the registration page fill out the form while obeying the instructions displayed which are:
- Enter the six digit Centre Number.
- Enter the four digit Candidate Number.
- Choose session from the drop down list, either June or November.
- Choose level from the drop down list, either O'Level or A'level.
- Enter the Year you sat for the exam.
- Enter your Candidate Name as it appears on the statement of entry. If the name typed differ in anyway from the one on the statement of entry, the account will not be created.
- Enter your date of birth, using the dd/mm/yyyy format
- Enter a username that you would like to use for logging in to the application.
- Enter a password, that comprises of a capital letter, digits, and non alphabetic characters. For example Zimsec123! would be a valid password.
Step 3: Candidate Login
On successful account registration you will be redirected to the login page. Enter the username and password you set during registration and click login.
Step 4: Viewing Results
After successfully logging in you will be redirected to the results portal where you will have 2 links to open results. You can either click on “Candidate Results” link on the header or “View results” button in the middle. Both will take you to the results page where you can view your results and take screenshots as the portal will be closed after a certain period of time.
