Background

Langham Girls High School is a secondary school for girls located in Mashonaland Central Province, Zimbabwe. It was established in 1983 on land donated by Cathrine Langham to the Anglican Church. The school is situated on Langham Hasfa Farm, between the towns of Mvurwi and Centenary, in the Mazowe District.

Administration

The school is operated by the Anglican Church in Zimbabwe. It serves both boarding and day students, with a total enrollment of nearly 500 girls. The teaching staff includes over 25 certified educators, supported by a team of ancillary workers.

Academics

Langham Girls High School offers both Ordinary Level (O-Level) and Advanced Level (A-Level) education. The O-Level curriculum follows the Zimbabwe School Examinations Council (ZIMSEC) syllabus, while the A-Level program is based on the Cambridge curriculum. The school became a registered Cambridge Centre in 2023.

Subjects taught include sciences, humanities, business studies, and technical subjects. The school has consistently recorded high pass rates in national examinations, especially in science and business-related subjects.
