Zimbabwe's government is divided into three branches: the Executive (headed by the President), the Legislative (Parliament, consisting of the National Assembly and Senate), and the Judicial (led by the Chief Justice and the court system). This separation of powers ensures checks and balances in governance.

Zimbabwe's Parliament is bicameral, consisting of two chambers: the National Assembly (lower house) and the Senate (upper house). The National Assembly is led by the Speaker, while the Senate is presided over by the President of the Senate.

Cabinet ministers in Zimbabwe are appointed by the President to head government ministries and departments. Each minister is responsible for policy formulation and implementation within their portfolio, assisted by Deputy Ministers and Permanent Secretaries who handle administrative functions.

Zimbabwe has 10 provinces, including two metropolitan provinces (Harare and Bulawayo). Each province is administered by a Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, supported by a Secretary for Provincial Affairs and Devolution.
